We are dedicated to the care of abandoned, homeless, unwanted, and lost animals. Our goal is to find quality homes for all healthy, adoptable animals and to only euthanize those too sick or aggressive to be adopted.
We are a government funded animal shelter that serves the unincorporated 4400 square miles of Torrance County. We are unable to accept animals outside our county due to space. The City of Moriarty, Mountainair, and Estancia each have their own animal control officers and shelters.
We currently adopt out dogs and cats from our location. Our adoption fee is $75.00 per pet. This covers sterilization, rabies and an exam. If the animal is already sterilized the fee is $40.00. We also offer micro-chipping of any animals for a fee of $ 20.00.
County Licenses can be obtained at the shelter as well.
